Can this procedure be associated to another?

A mentoplasty (chin surgery) is usually associated to a rhinoplasty (nose surgery).

What should I take into account before the operation?

You must tell your surgeon of any dental problem you have. This way, he will coordinate efforts directly with your dentist.

What should I take into account after the operation?

Follow a soft diet for three to five days, preferably cold or room-temperature food.
Keep the bandages and adhesive tapes for at least two weeks.
Maintain good mouth hygiene.
Follow strictly your doctor’s instructions and take the medications prescribed.
